FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
[Q] The zip code field has space for a 9-digit number, but I only know the main 5-digit zip.
Can I enter just the 5-digit zip?
[A] Yes. The zip code data entry field in IAv2 was designed to take advantage of the frequently used and increasingly common USPS Zip+4 format.
However, IAv2 does allow you to enter only the traditional 5-digit zip code while leaving the "+4" portion blank.
[Q] Why does it take so long for the hourglass task timer to disappear after I have initiated an action in IAv2?
[A] Appearances can be deceiving. While the hourglass timer does stay visible after clicking on a task, it is not the true indicator of when an action or activity has completed processing.
To move faster through the system, pay close attention to the "processing bar" located in the upper right hand corner of the window.
This is the true indicator of when a process has completed its activity and the system is ready to proceed. Occasionally you will notice that even after
the processing bar has disappeared, the traditional Windows hourglass timer is still visible. When this occurs, simply move your mouse and the hourglass
should disappear, returning your normal mouse pointer and allowing you to continue working in the system.
